In Affluent Greenwich, It's Republicans vs Trumplicans

The New York Times exposes the right-wing takeover of the
Greenwich Republican Town Committee

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold
is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

Thomas Jefferson

THE LIFEBLOOD OF DEMOCRACY

Free and Fair Elections

Election results could be overturned.

Jefferson had it right. Silence fosters tyranny. The threats in the land to the lifeblood of  democracy, free and fair elections, are very real, and our silence could mean its loss. The people's voice as expressed in the voting booth and the peaceful transfer of power are under attack by Republican-led state legislatures.

It is essential to save our democracy that The Freedom to Vote Act, currently stalled in the Senate, becomes the law of the land. Call or write Senators Dick Blumenthal and Chris Murphy to show your support. Remaining silent is not an option.
