Jim Himes, Chairman

Jim Himes, Greenwich Democratic Town Committee chairman, is a Director of New York Programs at the Enterprise Foundation, leading a project to provide more, better and cheaper financial services to low-income families. In addition to his work with the Democratic Town Committee, he is Chairman of the Board of Aspira of Connecticut, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Greenwich Housing Authority, and a member of the Session of the First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich. Jim is a graduate of Harvard College and received an M.Phil in Latin American Studies from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. He lives in Cos Cob with his wife Mary and daughters Emma (6) and Linley (3).

Bill Bambrick, Secretary

William E. (Bill) Bambrick, Greenwich Democratic Town Committee Secretary, has lived in Greenwich since 1973. He was recently elected to the DTC, the RTM, and the Board of Assessment Appeals. He has been moderator/assistant moderator for elections held in town. Bill received his degree in chemical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and went to work for American Cyanamid Company’s R&D center in Stamford. Married in 1967, the Bambrick’s two children were born in Greenwich and attended Dundee, North Mianus, Eastern Middle and Greenwich High School. Bill retired early from American Cyanamid Company and formed a consulting business in the energy sector.

Bill Finger, Co-Vice Chariman

William R. (Bill) Finger, Greenwich Democratic Town Committee secretary, is a life-long Democrat who has lived in Greenwich for over 21 years. He is currently a member of the Town of Greenwich’s Board of Parks and Recreation and chair of the Board’s Cos Cob Power Plant sub-committee. He has participated in or served on the PTA Council’s budget committee, as Chairperson of the Greenwich High School Sports Council, as a sounder and member of the Executive Board of the Greenwich Basketball Association and as a coach for numerous youth sports teams. Bill is a commercial real estate developer and investor. He holds a B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a juris doctor degree from the Fordham University School of Law. He and his wife Beth have two children, both of whom attended Greenwich public schools from kindergarten through high school.

Neil Grealy, Treasurer

Cornelius J. (Neil) Grealy, Greenwich Democratic Town Committee treasurer, has lived in Greenwich for 15 years and has been a member of the Greenwich Democratic Town Committee since 2000. He is an attorney admitted to practice in the states of Connecticut and New York and works as in-house council for a corporation in Wilton, Connecticut. Neil holds a B.A. from Fordham College and a J.D. from Yale Law School.

Beth Krumeich, Co-Vice Chairman

Elizabeth K. (Beth) Krumeich, Greenwich Democratic Town Committee co-vice chairman, has lived in Greenwich for almost 20 years. She has held numerous leadership positions in the community, including serving as the president of the League of Women Voters of Greenwich, co-president of the North Street School PTA, secretary of the Junior League of Greenwich and currently is serving as the chair of the Policy Committee of the Central Middle School PTA. Beth is in-house counsel to a private company that services hedge funds and private investment groups. She holds a B.A. degree from Kirkland College (formerly coordinated with Hamilton College) and earned a J.D. degree from the Catholic University Law School. Beth is married to Ed Krumeich (a member of the BET) and they have two daughters, Sarah (15) and Katie (13).
